Stamping
Estampillage Leduc :
for metal stamping or embossing
The name says it all: we are specialists in metal stamping
and die forging in Quebec!
The transformation of metal on coils using a matrix mounted on a press (punch) has several names: stamping, embossing or die forging. This metal transformation consists of shaping a piece of metal by deformation and identifying it by affixing a permanent marking. In other words, an embossed impression is applied to a piece to establish authenticity, the same as stamping a paper document.
Estampillage Leduc also provides electrical knock-out type embossing which is a standard activity in its Granby workshop. At your request, it is also possible to perform special embossing on metal (steel, stainless, aluminum…).
The most often used materials are:
-
Pickle and oil steel: thicknesses of 24ga
